Last week I tackled the feat of organizing all of the photos we had floating in various places in cyber-space and burning them on to CDs. I had every intention of making the new CD cases look pretty as part of last week's tackle, but basically, work (of the type where my boss could fire me if it were not done) intervened.
So this week's tackle was creating the front and back inserts and CD labels for those CDs. The couple I didn't get to yet will be finished over my lunch hour. Because quite honestly, I shudder at the thought that our memory card in our camera is full again and that this process won't ever end. (Just the thought of losing these photos, though, is enough to make me want to cry, so I will at least continue burning my photos on CDs until a better medium comes along.)
I also intended to take my boys out last night and pick up all the garbage that was hiding under the snow in our yard to introduce them to Earth Day, but I admit to being a slacker Mom. We just went to the park down the street and played instead. But I guess that's enjoying nature, right?

Thanks for stopping by! Oh what a great tackle of buring your photos! That is one I have to do since I have sooo many on the computer. My friend's computer just crashed the other day so the fear of mine doing that and losing the 16 months of my second daughters life on here would be horribe....but I haven't burned the pictures yet! Hope it all goes well for you!

I REALLY need to do this! I haven't done it for any pics we have. They're all organized on the computer but I would be SO upset if something happened to the computer so I guess I need to get on the ball. Great tackle and great idea... I'll have to steal it! Thanks for stopping by!
That comment was me by the way... I was signed under the wrong name :-) Just in case you were wondering.
Oh wow. I wish I could get that done.
Great tackle! I just need to get my photos printed out. It will be a while before that happens.
Excellent tackle! Do you have a special program that imprints the photo onto the cd like that? Very cool!
Great tackle post as usual. I have a suggestion, I use a disc printer called a DiscPainter to make color image CD and DVD labels. It also designs the jewel case inserts. Very neat, easy, and fast. It takes the "ack!" out of "Tackle".
Thanks for the suggestion, Jan. I actually created my templates in Word a few years ago. I'm hoping I get a new laptop for Mother's Day (a-hem, honey, if you read this) and I'll have to remember "DiscPainter"!
Great tackle!
:)
I had hoped to do that too but uh didn't get around to that tackle. :)
That's a great idea, and it looks great too!
Great tackle! I would have opted for the park too. :)
