You know we all wore patriotic shirts.
The kids all picked up TONS of candy thrown by the folks in the parade.
Will got his first parade goodies, too!
After the parade, the fam headed off to the park for more fun.
We had some snacks
and the older boy played on the inflatable, uh, stuff.
Yes, I know this one looks really obscene. That's why I took it.
Hubby and I were laughing our butts off.
Hubby and I were laughing our butts off.
After a late lunch and free ice cream sandwiches, we wrestled shoes back on the kids
and went home for a rest.
Later, we went back to the park to eat dinner and snag our spots for fireworks.
The kids ran around and played and shared some cotton candy
but Will didn't like it. A consistency thing...
I amused myself by taking pictures in the long light.
Finally it was dark!
These were Will's first fireworks - he was only 4 months old last year.
He wasn't scared at all. He really liked them!
It was the perfect American holiday. Well, perfect except for Will peeing on my lap during the fireworks show, but I'll take it just the same!
Hope all of you had a great 4th of July!

Looks like a fun holiday! Both my babies were in bed before the fireworks even started. I am a mean mommy.
