Clearly, I need a nap.

fall sunrise
Taken last Friday, October 8th as part of my 365 photo project.

So -- there's this field by my house that I drive by every day. Don't ask my what the heck was growing there, because while I know it wasn't corn or soybeans or wheat, it just looked like some grassy-type substance.

It doesn't really matter what it was...cuz now its gone.

In place of that lovely whatevertheheck that shouted to me
"Grab a big ol' blanket, traipse to my center and lie down, hidden to the world where no one can see you to scream "MOM! HE'S LICKING ME!!!" and just look up at the sky...at the trees. Feel the sun and the gentle breeze on your face, close your eyes and let your mind wander and think all the thoughts you normally don't have time to think and just...BE."
there is now a huge patch of bald earth covered with sporadic bales of hay.

Or some grassy-type substance.

Ohmygosh! I do that too! I'll see little isolated places while driving down the highway, and feel an inexplicable urge to spend time there. Alone. The most assinine place that I envision myself? Those tiny little brick buildings that are sometimes located next to railroad crossings ... I imagine what it would be like to work there, all alone ....

I think I need a rest too. At least a mental one : )
