You can't say they're not creative.

I've been busy this week. We've had a big out-of-town event every three weeks this summer, and in preparation for our next one (a family reunion in western Wisconsin) I've been updating our family directory again.

So, because I have no complete thoughts left in my head after all of this running around, I thought I'd share a little video with you.

It seems my children can take a baby toy and..."repurpose" it.

They came up with this idea all by themselves...I'm so proud.

Is this how Joey Chestnut got started?

I grabbed the flip camera while eating dinner on Monday night because Will was licking the butter from his bread (sassy, maybe, but cute as hell) and both he and Nick were laughing about it like it was the funniest thing in the world. By the time I got the camera and turned it on, this is what I got.

Goofy little buggar.

I only hope I'm not disowned.

After Will's birthday party on Saturday, we busted out the ol' Wii. (When has Wii not provided a good time?) Bowling turned into Mario Kart and before you know it, we went all Partridge Family and broke out the Rock Band.

And not long after that, my Pa rocked out to Sabotage.

Daddy? I still love you.

Awees Goweewok!

I had Christmas tunes goin' on the XM radio (thru DirecTV) last night. Was in the bathroom when Nick came running up to the door.

"MOM! AWEES GOWEEWOK IS ON TV!!!"

Thinking I hadn't heard him properly, and that the kids had changed the channel, I headed out into the living room. This is what I found.

I apologize in advance for my shrill voice, bad camera handling and the finger that moves across the camera lens at the end, but it was one of those "must capture" moments. I only hope you don't pee your pants.

In case you can't make out the actual song, its "Feliz Navidad". Dora is hanging her head in shame.
