He won't shut up about basketball.
Its become an obsession, and its beginning to interfere with our lives.
He wakes up in the middle of the night, bouncing an imaginary ball, crying for his "buh-ball".
We'll pull in the driveway and he'll see the little hoop.
"BUH BALL! BUH BALL! BUH BALL MAMA!"
Its virtually impossible to get him inside the house without playing buh-ball for at least 10 minutes.
I know kids do it - Nick went through stages, too, where he HAD to have one toy or another and talk about it all day long. But none of them lasted this long.
And it doesn't stop inside the house. I've let him sleep with a ball, just for a little peace.
Will, in his 'dribbling' stance
Woe is me!

HE IS SO CUTE!
Think of it this way momma...have you seen what buh-ball players make??? It's an investment of your time and sanity that will pay for your future..ahem his future I meant..:D
Basketball jones, he's got a basketball jones, he's got a basketball jones, ooooo baby ooo ooo oooo
.."I took that basketball with me everywhere I went. Maybe that's why I can't sleep at night."
What a cutie!
I get it! My little guy is obsessed with "boops" right now (a.k.a. books). No matter where we are, he spots one and yells, "boop! boop! boop!" until I place it in his slimy little hands. I think I might have to remove the bookshelf from his bedroom because bedtime is becoming a catastrophy!
But when he makes an NBA team and buys you a Porche? All this will be a fond memory:)
I'm with Green Girl - mommy could have a very nice retirement on her son's NBA salary...
He's too cute... :)
Well considering how much the buh-ball players make these days- I think this is a good thing to encourage!
That video is too cute!!

Looks like baby needs some new shoes....some BUH BALL shoes!!! :)
Love the picture of him pointing at the big ball stuck in the net. It's almost like I can hear him saying "Mom, we have a SITUATION!"
Awww...he's so cute with all his buh-balls!
And I know what you mean about having to resort to allowing an obsessed-about toy give you some peace and quiet. Thomas the Train helped Gavin off his binky habit.
He is toooo adorable! My daughter loves buh-balls too, but she tries to Bou-ous bou-ous on them (aka bounce, bounce)and falls a lot. :P
