William, listen...

I've posted before about funny things Nick has said. The truth is, I don't post enough of that kind of stuff. Sunday night, while on the way home from my Aunt and Uncle's, he decided to "educate" his little brother.

Last year, I bought (for $8) a Sesame Street DVD called Learning About Letters (which you can now get through my Amazon Store. *ahem*) It includes classic Sesame Street clips, which I remember and LOVE. We watch it a lot in our house.

Nick: William, listen.
William says nothing, peering at his brother in the absolute darkness.
Nick: We're gonna make a "M", OK? (waits for Will to reply and gets nothing - Will doesn't realize you can't see a smile in the dark)
Nick: OK, you start up here with your finger and "ssshhhhhhhhh" go down like that. Then you go up here and make a line down again like this: "ssshhhhhhhh". Then you gotta make the lines in the middle. "ssshhhhhh" and "ssshhhh".
Will giggles.
Nick: Then you put 'prinkles on it, and some salt and pepper and you eat it.

I can't seem to successfully embed the video, but you can watch the classic Sesame Street clip here.

I wonder what an "M" tastes like.

Do "M's" have the same calories as Chips Ahoy? Because if they're less fattening, I'm going to pick some up at the store.

Prinkles AND salt and pepper? What on earth are your kids eating? I'm presuming here that 'prinkles' are what we call 'sprinkles' and are like hundreds and thousands (little tiny coloured bits?)
