The truth about the birthday party:
Nick's actual 4th birthday isn't until next Wednesday, but Jay works every other weekend and it was easier to do it early rather than later. This has led the child to think the entire month of "Nomember" is his birthday.

I did actually think to do most of those things on the list I posted the other day - some just by accident...

Do your kids try to wear the little accessories that come with Mr. Potato Head? Mine do. And they don't stop at trying to wear those teensie tiny glasses. I think I commented somewhere about this last week, but my kids put the ear pieces in their ears, mouth piece in their mouth, etc. I had to laugh step in like a good mom and tell Nick it was dangerous when he stuck the little stick of the Mr. Potato Head nose up his own nose. The sneezing and snuffling and crying afterward made it hard for me not to laugh out loud. Oh, who am I kidding? I freaking LAUGHED which made him cry harder. Well, hopefully he won't do THAT again. (Again, who am I kidding? I know he will.)

SO unmotivated today.
I finished up a project at work this morning that I've been working on for like three days. I am now on to making out our Christmas lists. That is all.

Really, though. That is all. This NaBloPoMo thing has got my Google Reader at the point of near explosion. Good thing its not a physical inbox, or that baby would be burstin' at the seams.
