Cinderella story...outta nowhere...a former greenskeeper...

(a.k.a. Weekly Winners - for more, visit Sarcastic Mom)

stems
Thursday I pulled into the driveway to find this, all alongside my house.

broken
Hmmm...mysterious.

discarded
"We were golfing, Mommy."

untouched
"We didn't break ALL of 'em. There's four left."

Huh. Thanks kids. ;-)

sorry about the flowers ... but excellent use of a Caddyshack quote, as a title no less! I appreciate that : )

My friend's husband was just complaining on FB last night about how he was at a restaurant, and when someone at his table told the waitress, "Orange whip? Orange whip? Three orange whips!" , she totally didn't get it. It's up to us to keep Caddyshack and Blues Brothers alive for the younger generations : )

Ugh, I feel for you. MIne don't golf yet but they do love to pick the pretty flowers for me or my elderly female neighbor - for her I don't mind but... I love how you told a story - great shots!

Oh no! I'm sorry about your squished plants, but they made beautiful shots!

Sometimes one just has to sacrifice the tulips, huh? Oh, and I voted for ya, too. Sweet snaps!

The flowers are lovely.

Well...I'm sure they were lovely while they lasted. And, tulips will go by anyway...

Oh My. Time to buy some plastic balls - otherwise the boys are going to give golf a bad name.

Jenni said...

Oh so pretty...but nothing good lasts forever, right?

Ummmm...at least they're playing outside?
Yeah, I got nothing. I'd break my kids' golf clubs over my knee if they did that to my tulips.

Didn't Jayson just get them? Awwww :((((

I can't believe no one mentioned what an excellent use of a Caddyshack quote, you have there! Perfect. I guess I'm just showing my age.
